Take A Stand For Achieving World Peace Through Dietary Consciousness

"The Ascended Ones share that global unity and harmony will come when we learn to honor the gifts of all cultures. There are wonderful ways of being in all societies, as well as evident imbalances. Being open of mind and heart will allow us to learn of others' ways and then utilize discernment and choice to integrate the best of everything - a synthesis of the best to create something even more powerful. The best is what is evidently and demonstrably working for the benefit of all. Imagine humanity absorbing and blending the best from all societies to create a new harmonious way of being, instead of operating from the greed and power-based lower emotions, which run rampant in the 'civilized' world today."  - from In Resonance with Jasmuheen

World Peace is a natural consequence of the robust health and well-being of each individual person. There is a direct link between our individual, daily dietary choices and achieving peace on earth. Fine-tune yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and World Peace will just show up naturally. In listing your name below, you have the opportunity to embrace the platform that your individual, daily decisions will bring about a new future.

Achieving World Peace begins with a declaration of our intention to do so.
It begins with taking a personal stand, and joining others in that stand.

Note: Signing this list does not obligate you in any fashion for anything whatsoever. You are not joining some formal organization.
You are not agreeing to purchase anything, nor will you be sought out to purchase anything.
Your email address will not be sold, traded, or given to anyone else, period.
You are simply signifying your agreement with the stated stand, and you are encouraging other like-minded people to align with your goal.

By listing my name below, I declare the following to be true, and I pledge my dedication to this stand:

I hereby express that I, as part of the world-life community, will make decisions which lead to a fundamentally ethical world.
I hereby express that I will live my life in such a manner as to bring about World Peace.

I support these assertions:
 that my personal decisions and actions eventually affect everyone else on the planet;
 that my daily dietary decisions incorporate ethical considerations including the care and treatment of animals;
 that what I put in (and on) my body affects me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; and
 that caring for, and cleaning up, my body is a prerequisite to achieving World Peace.
I will, therefore, make daily dietary choices, and food purchasing decisions, which support achieving that goal.

I now declare that the work of achieving World Peace will begin with me.

It's 2011 and things are getting worse not better. Climate change is happening right now and people still refuse to change their lifestyles. Children are eating junk food and why are most Americans on drugs? The wildlife and old growth forests are suffering, the domestic animals are suffering along with the few people who are eating a green diet and supporting Peacemakers and Environmentalists instead of the War-Mongers and Violence in our society. Thank you Captain for sharing and I pass it on to those who will listen. Namaste, :)

For human beings to realise this essential aspect of their nature the mindful practise of peaceful compassion and love is good to include in all the wonderful situations that challenge our best and most beautiful actions. Peace begins with the little steps that we take and expands when we inspire everyone else we know to take those same little steps." Thank you for your consideration. Tony Samara

Of course it's true, we will never have peace until we end our war with animals. I hope someday we will empty the cages and begin our compassionate journey.

Thanks, Doug. You have done a spectacular job of putting together some very useful information, and in the greater context of a beautiful motivation. As my spiritual teacher is often quoted as saying, "Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible."

Thanks for promoting conscious eating and the importance of considering the impact of our food choices, not only on ourselves, but on the planet. I believe peace starts with "me," and how I care for myself is fundamentally linked to what I eat!

"Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me!" (Quote) YES!! We must cleanse and nourish our bodies and minds if we want to feel peace within ourselves. Only then can we hope to motivate others.
